Simple prayers for every one to be chanted on Tuesday
(Tuesday is governed by planet mars called Kuja, Angaraja , Mamgala and Chevai. The God governing Tuesday is Lord Subrahamanya . Here ia a set of five prayers for Tuesday
Prayer for Kuja/Mangala
Dharanee garbha sambhootam ,Vidyut Kaanti Sama-prabham
Kumaram Shakti Hastam ,Tham Mangalaam Pranamamyamaham
Salutations to the mars,
Who is born to the earth,
Whose shine is equal to lightning,
Who is a young man,
And who carries the Shakthi.
Om veeradhwajaaya vidmahae
vighna hastaaya dheemahi
tanno bhouma prachodayaat
Om, Let me meditate on him who has hero in his flag,
Oh, He who has power to solve problems, give me higher intellect,
And let the son of earth God illuminate my mind.
Prayer to Lord Subrhamanya
Jaya Devendrajakantha , jaya Mruthyunajayathmaja,
Jaya Sailendraja soono , jaya Sambhu ganavrutha.
Victory to the consort of daughter of king of devas ,
Victory to the son of God who won over God of death,
Victory to the daughter of king of mountains ,
And Victory to God surrounded by Lord Shiva and Ganesa.
Subrahamanya Gayathri Mantra
Om That Purushaya Vidhmahe
Maha Senaya Dheemahe
Thanno Shanmuga Prachodayath.
Om, Let me meditate on that great male,
Oh, commander in chief, give me higher intellect,
And let the six faced one illuminate my mind.
Subrahmanyaya Mangalam
Mangalam deva devaya , Raja rajaya Mangalam,
Mangalam Nadha nadhaya , kala kalaya mangalam.
Auspiciousness to God of Gods, Auspiciousness to king of kings,
Auspeciousness to lord of lords, auspiciousness to killer of God of death.
