Worship Saint Ramanuja-Philosopher and social reformer –on his birthday (Ashtothara namavali) On the 1000th birthday celebrations of saint Ramanuja , the great exponent of Visishtadvaitha philosophy starts . When we think about this great saint we tend to remember the definition of a true Vaishnava by Narasi Mehtha(my translation of Vaishnava Janatho) :- He and he alone is the Vaishnava, Who knows the pain and misery of others, Who tries to help others in distress, And who does not have pride in his mind.
